WHYC was established in 2024 and is made up of Indigenous youth representatives from each province/territory/region. Our Council members are deeply dedicated to re-Indigenizing and decolonizing the institutions and spaces we share and promoting Indigenous youth mental wellness.
As members of WHYC, we advocate for Indigenous Youth by honouring culture as we guide the next seven generations, nurturing holistic mental wellness, amplifying youth voices, and creating accessible spaces for growth and belonging, all rooted in Indigenous ways of knowing and being.
