Wellness Supports

We provide free and culturally informed wellness supports on the topics of mental health and substance use issues.

Thunderbird Wellness

Our culturally grounded app is free, and user friendly! The app promotes a strengths-based, trauma informed approach to supporting First Nations wellness.

Resource Library

We offer many culturally informed resources that focus on many aspects of First Nations wellness, and we are always adding to our library!

All our resources are available for free download, or you can also order hard copies (printing and shipping costs may apply).

Wellness Hubs

The Wellness Hubs offer a forum for community healthcare workers to find peer support to reflect on best and wise practices, and ways to strengthen Indigenous ways of knowing and being. Members gain access to hundreds of cultural, health and wellness, substance use and pandemic related resources.

Wellness Bundles

Our wellness bundles will steer you in the right direction if you are looking for specific resources, for example we list small groups of resources intended to address particular topics such as cannabis, opioids and methamphetamine use, harm reduction, etc.

Mino Bimaadiziwin

Our podcast, Mino Bimaadiziwin, means living the good life in the Anishinaabe language. This podcast aims to seek and share insight about addictions and mental health issues, exploring tough subjects with some of the leading voices in Indigenous wellness. It is grounded in culture, Indigenous ways of knowing, respect, kindness, and compassion.
