Thunderbird Partnership Foundation held a First Nations Substance Use Summit on March 28-30, 2023, in Toronto, Ontario.

The primary objectives of the presentations and discussion groups were to inform core competencies for the workforce supporting addictions services in First Nations communities, provide information to develop a standardized treatment curriculum for residential treatment services, and to review the feasibility of and requirements for a national mental wellness association.
