This guidebook provides general information on how to help a loved one or community member who may be experiencing a substance abuse and/or a mental health problem or crisis. The information contained in this guidebook is meant to assist in recognizing the signs of a substance abuse and/or mental health problem in another person and to be able to take some immediate steps to help that person.
