This project responds to system-level needs related to practical and culturally relevant strategies as highlighted in Honouring Our Strengths: A Renewed Framework to Address Substance Use Issues among First Nations People in Canada.As noted in the Honouring Our Strengths Framework, skills associated with Motivational Interviewing are intended to respond to the needs of people at high risk for negative consequences linked to substance use.
