Thunderbird’s Goals
In summary, our work supports First Nations communities and people on their journey. We affirm the inherent strengths of the people and their cultures.
We support individuals and communities and their ability to make wise, evidence-based decisions based on self-determination and personal choice.
Indigenous culture helps us find unique views, perspectives, and strategies that are available to First Nations People and those who serve them.
When we draw from culture, we remember who we are.
We remember that our teachings are about taking care of each other.
We can build a vision for positivity and balance.
We can build practices and systems that support all aspects of wellness: mind, body, spirit, and emotions.
